We take the train to Tegernsee, where we hop on a bus that takes us  to where our hike starts.

Net walking time: 6-7 hours
Elevation gain: 850 m

• The route is safe, but appropriate shoes, e.g.  hiking boots or winter shoes with a good profile are required.
• The forecast promises clear skies, but the ground might be a bit wet or muddy.
• We’ll have breaks along the way, but won’t stop at lodges or beer gardens, so provisions will have to be brought along.
